That would be dumb if this was the last one. They just revamped the game's graphics and now they are done? It would make sense if they didn't make one for 360.

Its not the last one, there is no way. The game has seen the most sales its ever seen. To stop now would be well...foolish.

Trust me, it isnt the last one. Even though many of the exploits and lack of features that are in the sport, take away from this game. This is the closest we've gotten to a real simulation boxing game. Is it a complete sim, no absolutely not...but is it the best thus far. I think so, the community is small, but if we work together to create a positive atmosphere we can attract EA.
I gauarantee you, we CAN get EA's attention. With this site, and the members, it can be done. Its been done before. But the problem is Ea Tibiron (People responsible for making Madden) actually has a representative devoted solely for fansites. However, Ea Chicago, does not. Why because its still a relatively new development team. Tibiron has haved over atleast 10 years of fan community development.
If any of you are familiar with Maddennation.com, check it out. There are some diehard Fight Night fans, as well as boxing fans there. I dont know if any of you are familiar with Rac Diesel from Maddennation. But if we can develop this site into a positive atmopshere, where we all try to IMPROVE the Fight Night community, he is more than willing to share his contacts with us. But it takes a united effort. Im offering my services in what ever way possible to help us all get the game we've wanted.
Who's with me!
Pm me if you have any questions or ideas!

I've seen you over at IGN and you're a great poster. I saw madden nation on TV 2 days ago. There was 8 of the best players in the world playing for 100,000 dollars. If we could do that for Fight Night I would definately be there.

Great to be here. But no man, im talking about the website. Not the show on ESPN. You know the site, you've posted there before. So how are things around here? Can I help with anything? If its anything I can do to make this site better, you have my full support. For those who have Xbox live for the 360, go and download the MADDEN community day vids, and the Madden Payview vid to understand what I'm talking about. Then comeback here with any questions. The Madden PPV: www.maddennation.com/rac/InsideMadden07Tease1.mov (Here you will see Rac Diesel from Maddenation.com talk about "sim" style) Takes some time to load. Madden community day vid: www.xbox.com/en-US/community/news/2006/0731-eacommunityday.htmHere they show a bunch of people from fansites, many of you are a part of, or atleast know about. Please check them out. I understand this is Madden but the emphasis is on the COMMUNITY support that Ea gets from Madden and all of these guys are being rewarded. We can accomplish this with this site, I know it. People are already willing to help us!

Madden is huge. Madden has been huge for years and it took time to get where it is now. NFL is bigger than ever too, so it's no suprise that "madden" is the people choice. Fight Night will never get that big, but can certainly get close to it. Unfortunately there are die hard boxing fans out there that will never dedicate to making FightNight as big as or anywhere near the popularity of Madden because of significant flaws in the game.
Alot of guys think theres no chance for FightNight. anytime you can lean in positions where you can't be touched 3 years in a row, it's obvious theres some things that EA Chicago just won't get right, thus it leaves tons of people disapointed, and those are usually the people who would help the most when it comes to creating a even bigger community for the game.
Behind madden are millions of die hard Football fans. They buy tickets to cheer on their home team, they buy madden to play with their favorite players. The same situation is there for EA Chicago and Fightnight. Millions of boxing fans, and tons of boxers missing from the game throw off the interest. Tons of things you can do that you'd never see in real life ruin it aswell, and now it's so gimmicky t owhere people just jab all fight long, where as other's wish every punch would serve a purpose.. like real boxing.. and these people who get pissed? Are the ones that can help out the most.
EA Chicago's focus on Def Jam also hurts the future of Fight Night. The next fight night game will really tell the future of the series. I've told TONS of people about this site, and the site before it, and look what we have?
Theres nothing Die hard about the fans for fightnight, except the guys we have here. The guys who wan't more out of their online experiences, and actually wan't to play the game the way it's meant to be played.
Maybe if we push a little harder, these guys will fall.. or they'll start pushing back? But theres a reason we can only grab 150 guys, and only 40 be active. Guys play fight night because their waiting for another game, or because they need something to laugh at, glitch in and feel special, or just a game to waste time on.
The guys in this site are the most serious guys online, and that says alot considering it's what.. only 150 of us? (40 active?).
Fightnight is a game for sells at this point. I really wish it could reach another level, but time will tell. If we can get a DEEP roster, and get rid of some cheese (which is extreeemely easy to do), then we'll have the changes we're looking for.

Great words Intoccabile, I feel you man. You are absolutely right. Fight Night isnt Madden. But on the bright side, many of the fansites like Maddennation have people who are "sim" players of all sports games. While Madden my be their #1 title of choice, many prefer Fight Night as a close second.
I also agree that the exploits ruin this game. But you'd be surprised how many people who'd love to find players who play the game as a sim. We aren't the only one's. You just have to find them. They are usually the guys who dont play ranked fights, and create their own rooms. I think the best we can do RIGHT now, is keep these boards going, and try to find people. I'll keep in touch with the guys at Madden Nation.com and if everything proves stable around here you should see a few of them pop up. Then they will share their contacts with us. You can count on it.
Also, since you have and administration position intoccabile, please let me know if there's anything I can do. ANYTHING. I want to help build this site into something great.
But first off I have a handfull of suggestions.
1. Keep promoting the site. Create signatures stating the site's name, make the site part of your user name so other gamers can identify you. Example: "FNBF Reignmaka" ....you get it.
2. Make and keep a list of exploits that are outlawed on this site, and keep it updated. People find new one all the time. If this league/site will not allow it then stick to it. I know a few places that have list. I can Pm them to you.
3. Make it know that you are encouraging "sim" type play and explain what that means. Im sure you're doing this already. But I figured it be a good Idea to keep it up. I know I will be.
4. If you find some good guys who play the game as a sim, add them to your friends list. (I'm sure you all do this too, but just dont forget to send ME one if you play on the 360 my is Gt: xX Reignmaka Xx)
5. Stay positive, keep the boards positive try to avoid bashing the game, and the producers. It looks bad, and thats part of what ruins the Ign boards. I hate to see it happen here. You guys a have a good thing going on here. I just hope I can help be a part of it.
Again, I hope you dont feel I'm trying to tell you how to run the site. These are just suggestions. I really want to help.

With the exception of FNBF on the begining of our names, everything else is being done and strongly encouraged... we're clearly on the same page. PeacefulWarrior the master mind behind Sim Rules for the league, also recomended we put FNBF on the begining of our names and I couldn't agree more, once again.. It's obvious we're on the same page.
Its obvious your in the right place, and it's obvious that your as anxious to get fight night to another level just as badly was we are. For that reason alone, I thikn we can definately make something work out together LOL.
I just started recruiting again today. Letting guys know of the league, Sim rules, and asking them to spread the word. I had mixed reactions with the majority negative in the past. but today everyone seemed extremely interested and i'm sure the people i talked to will be active members within the next 24 hours.
The thing is though, the approach we're taking is a selfish one. We're trying to get the league recignition when the league can only go as far as the games community allows it.. and if the games community isn't that enthusiastic about making a BETTER community, the league will only go but so far.
I think what needs to be focused on now is what we can do to make the game better. That appeals to the big boys at EA and THAT will make what we're doing here more successful. If only we could get more voices, more people who know people, and more guys willing to participate in this league, for the love of the game.
