ROUND BY ROUND FROM ANOTHER FORUM:
Round one
Both men come out tenative til Prince gets him against the ropes. Throws some punches and connects on a few. Again, Prince gets Jones against the ropes while Jones covers up and Prince lands a few again. Jones looks alright but hasnt found any space to punch yet. Prince is doing a good job smothering him. Jones comes back with a five punch combo. Jones lands a few body shots to end the round.
10-9 Prince but Roy looked better in the last minute of the round.
Round 2
Roy lands a few body shots and Prince gets him to the ropes again. Jones starting to use his jab a bit. The fights starting to be fought out in the open now. Jones lands shots. Prince seems tired already. Still taking Roy to the ropes but isnt throwing much. Roys landing his jab. Good body shot by Roy followed by a four punch combo. Jones seems to be getting into a groove.

Round 3
Prince gets jones against the ropes but just clinches. Roy looking comfortable landing a left hook. Roy using his jab and looking better as time goes by. Three shot combo by JOnes. Prince fires back with a jab followed by a left hook. Jones throwing some combos now but not much landing. They look good though. Prince lands a short right hand. And another by Prince. Jones fires back from off the ropes with a three punch combo. Another combo. Nice right hook by Jones. Prince keeps getting him to the ropes but cant do anything when he gets there. Jones lands another body shot.

Jones fires a hard hook. JOnes landing jabs, boxing from the outside. Clinching when the fight gets in close. Slower round. JOnes lands an uppercut against the ropes. Prince isnt moving back to avoid punches. He just absorbs them. Jones continues to jab from the outside then clinches. Jones is just outboxing him. Controlling the tempo of the fight. Jones fires a four punch combo and lands two. Low blow from the Prince. Just a warning. Jones is moving around the ring landing his jab.

Round 5
Prince comes out with a coule jabs. Roy lands a three punch combo. Prince keeps lundging and paying for it. Ref keeps breaking them up too soon in my opinion. Jones lands a nice left to the body. Jones is laying against the ropes. Jones gets free and lands a few punch combo. Ref comtinues to warn for clinching. JOnes with a good body shot. Prince seems frustrated in there. Jones lands a flurry of left hooks. Body shot for roy as the round ends.

Prince lunges forward without much of a plan. Roy lands a few shots. Prince lands a few back in the center of the ring. Roy landing left hooks in the middle of the ring. Roy misses three punches. Prince doesnt do enough when he gets roy to the ropes. He just clinches. Left to the body for roy.. Jab for roy. Prince lands a coule rights against the ropes. Jones answers back with a hook. Jones looking comfortable in the ring and Prince isnt as aggressive. JOnes lands a few mor punches while backing away. Roy is using the entire ring tonight. Prince gets second warning by ref for low blows. McGirt isnt happy with his fighter.

Not a lot of action so far. Prince lands a few body shots. Roy with a couple hooks. Prince is warned for his thrid time for a low blow and gets a point taken away. Prince looks discouraged in here. Jones fires away a couple hooks landing a few. Roy doesnt seem willing to utilize on his greater skills. A little weery. Prince Lands a barrage of body shots against the ropes and the ref called one low so another point taken away. Jones is throwing much but landing what he throws. Prince bulls him to the ropes again but doesnt do much with it. Roy landing that left hook to the body at will.

Round 8
Lot of wrestling to start the round. Jones seems satisfied to walk away with a decision. Roy lands a jab. Prince chops away at the body against the ropes. Couple of body shots land for jones. Both trade to the body. Jones getting the better. Roy is refusing to stand his ground even though he is clearly the better man. Jones lands a fice punch combo! Nice shots. Anohter combo. Prince gets him against the ropes but goes low again for another point taken away. Ref warns this is the last warning. Jones fires his jab. Jones lands a nice uppercut followed by a nice body shot.

Prince doesnt seem like he wants to continue. Saying he cant breathe inbetween rounds. Jones lands a few jabs. Prince gets him against the ropes and lands a few body shots. Jones answers back with a jab and a body shot to get hisself of the ropes. Roy is still fighting backing up but its very effective. Landing good shots while backing up. Roy's combos are flashy but dont seem to have a lot of power. Prince lands a few shots to the body. They exchange hooks in the middle of the ring. Roy lands a few hooks and the round ends.

Judges at ringside have it 90-78 Jones. Turning into a real blow out. JOnes lands a few jabs in a row. Keft hook for roy and Rince bullies him to the ropes. Prince seems like he's accepted defeat. Ref warbs roy for putting his hands out? Roy catches a right hand but nothing seri0ous. Roy lands a combo to the body and head and is really starting to put his punches together. Another left to the body and uppercut to the face by roy. Prince continues to lunge forward with nothing planned but a clinch. Another uppercut by jones. This is vey onesided.

JOnes seems fresh haeding into the 11th. Crowd seems restless. Prince gets him against the ropes and lands a good combination. Fight goes back to the midle of the ring. Prince is too slow to catch Jones and catch him clean. JOnes taking a round off it seems. Not doing much. Princes eye is swelling. Jones lands a few jabs. Two nore jabs for roy. Three punch combo lands for roy! Prince smiles. The right eye of Prince isnt looking good. If Jones would just let it all go this could be over. Prince is moving really slow and not landing anything. Jones a few more lands as the bell rings.

JOnes is backing up when he should be going for the kill. Prince lands a few pitty pat shots against the ropes. Prince has nothing left. JOnes lets his hands go and landing! Maybe 6 or 7 unanswered shots after walking through a pretty good shot from Prince. Jones punches are still crisp. Jones takes four shots against the ropes. Nice one two to the body for jones. Lefy uppercut for jones. JOnes is comfortable to back up and fire away towards the bell.
