another boring HATTON FIGHT WITH ALL CLINCHING... this is intocs favorite fighter ....he is overrated and gets away for clinching way too much. he is a wrestler not a boxer plain and simple

i agree keegan, the last 3 or 4 rounds it really became evident (scratch that, the last half the fight) that Hatton is nothing more than a faster version of John Ruiz. I really don't see why Weeks didnt deduct a point or give a stern warning. A stern warning for holding in the 6th or 7th round would have made for a much more interesting fight...

Hatton doesn't 'feel like pleasing the crowd against a guy like Urango.. and especially since he's in Vegas and not in England. So he'll clinch like that. Very annoying and non-crowd pleasing.

I agree with you to a point Paterson, but I do think Hatton wanted a big performance and once he gassed he then went to survival mode. The whole prefight all he talked about was finally fighting in Vegas then intentionally goes at and gives a lackluster fight? Not likely...

Yeah, he clinched allot, but Hatton showed some good boxing skills too. Hatton won big and thats all that matters (if your a Hatton fan). I don't think he will ever be a PPV fighter though.

Wasnt the worst fight Ive seen. Better than the waste of talent performance of Floyd against carlos B.

The reason I said that Ichii was for 2 reasons. His fight with Vince Phillips and Kotsya Tszyu, which if I recall correctly, had barely any holding involved. I know the Phillips fight was barely any. Tszyu might of had some but was a very entertaining fight. That's why I bring that up. And against Collazo he did the same thing with Urango.

I agree fairly boring fight however if him and JLC do meet up i see Hatton beating him. Hatton will get KOd in the near future but not by castillo, honestly Hatton will probably dominate 140 but if he ever moves up and fights again he will be KOd.

I wouldnt say he would get ko'd, since he seems to have a good chin, but I can see him losing a points decision to a better boxer. Like Floyd Mayweather.

Man Hatton did his thing.. He was clinching through out the whole fight but it was subtle like throw 2 shots then dive in and clinch before the other dude got a shot off..
But for the last 2-3 rounds he was just straight up holding him to kill time..
Kind of wack if you ask me..
But you cant take anything from Hatton that dude is a fucking man..
He took on a big ass dude that nobody in here would want to fuck with and he smacked em around for 12 rounds or 10 1/2
He knew he had the fight and his corner told em to chill out and cruise so he said fuck getting hit with a lucky bomb from this big ass dude might as well hold since Tony cheeks wasnt saying shit

im not dissing hatton im actually sort of a fan of his, and he has shown a good chin in his career but his last 2 fights he has been rocked, vs collazo he got caught a few times and appeared dazed and against urango some of the body shots he took appeared to hurt him briefly so i believe a more skilled power puncher could give him serious problems if he moved up in weight again....personally i think Cotto would KO him in 8 or under, and i also believe if he moves up a slick boxer could beat him but honestly i dont think anyone currently could touch him at 140 though.

Yea man Ive seen every cotto fight theyve show on Tv and even saw a pay per view so thats like 8-10 fights maybe that Ive seen of his..
And I used to think Hatton would fuck him up.. But Cotto has just gotten better and better in every fight and hes just too much man for Hatton..
And even though Hatton has faster hands than Cotto I think Cotto would eat all his shots and bang the shit out of Hatton..
But Cotto is a welterweight now so I doubt that fight will ever happen unless Hatton moves up..[/i]

Cotto will never beat a real champion. I hate to diss him, but I'm not. I'm just telling the truth. Corley almost stopped him, but doesn't have the smarts to finish off a fighter. Hatton/Castillo/Mayweather would all destroy Cotto.

i disagree ray patt..at 147 cotto would end hattons career and he would destroy castillo of course..
mayweather would be in for a tough night but he would pull it off..
and bonds urango sucks..did you see his last fight against rabah? he CLEARLY lost and he got a gift bs decision..
